This is an unusual find! A guaranteed original Spanish one sheet movie poster from 1965 for Gordon Flemyng's time-travel sci-fi "Doctor Who and the Daleks", based on the second Doctor Who TV series "The Daleks", written by Terry Nation.

Filmed at Shepperton Studios, the first of two Doctor Who films stars Peter Cushing as the Time Lord from Gallifrey. Transported to a strange planet by the TARDIS, the Doctor and his companions come across strange cyborgs who refer to themselves as "The Daleks"!

This fantastic poster was produced for the film's 1966 release in Spain. The incredible artwork is by Macario Gomez Quibus who painted under the pseudonym 'Mac'. During a prolific career, he was also responsible for posters for Doctor Zhivago, Psycho and For a Few Dollars More.

This example is the only one we have ever come across. It was originally folded and had clearly been used, but at some point in its fifty-plus years, it was linen-backed and as our photos show, it will now look amazing framed and on display!

This is a must have for any horror fan!
