A guaranteed original advance one sheet movie poster from 2008 for Edward Zwick's World War II thriller "Defiance", starring Daniel Craig, Liev Schreiber, Jamie Bell, Alexa Davalos and George MacKay.

This fantastic, emotionally charged movie is based upon a book by Holocaust scholar (and Anne Frank award winning) Nechama Tec. Incredibly, it tells the true-life story of the Bielski Partisans, a group of over a thousand Polish Jews who spent two years hidden in a forest near Novogrudok while fighting the Nazis and rescuing fellow Jews from extermination. 

It is a remarkable story of flawed heroes and the film tells it well, with some really powerful performances. If you haven't seen it, it is well worth seeking out.

This super movie poster has never been folded and as our photos show, is in fantastic condition. Being double-sided, it is suitable for display in an Art of the Movies Light Box or traditional framing.

By the way, the film was shot about 150 kilometres from the original Bielski camp and some of the film's extras were descended from families that the partisans had rescued.
