A guaranteed original and framed 11x14 lobby card from 1963 for Joseph Mankiewicz's historical drama "Cleopatra", starring Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton and Rex Harrison.

With a screenplay adapted from Carlo Maria Franzero's 1957 book The Life and Times of Cleopatra, this epic movie was - at the time - the most expensive film ever made! Apparently it had gone over budget with only ten minutes of usable footage!

It was also the setting for Taylor and Burton's adulterous affair. Life magazine proclaimed the film the"... most talked about movie ever made"!

When it was finally released, it received nominations for nine Academy Awards, winning the Best Art Direction, Best Costume Design and Best Cinematogrphy (Colour) Oscars.

We are so thrilled to have tracked down this wonderful lobby card! The fantastic artwork of Taylor, Burton and Harrison is by movie poster legend Howard Terpning. It would have been displayed in a foyer of a U.S. movie theater during the film's release, over sixty years ago!

It is in absolutely amazing condition and has been framed by us in a black ayous wood frame with an iced white mount, protective barrier board and crystal clear acrylic glazing. As our photos show, it will look incredible on display!

By the way, Elizabeth Taylor's was paid a record breaking $1M for her role!
