A guaranteed original U.S. one sheet movie poster from 2000 for Robert Zemeckis' incredible desert island melodrama "Cast Away", starring Tom Hanks, Helen Hunt, Nick Searcy and a volley ball.

What a film this is and what a performance by Hanks! The plane crash scenes are incredibly powerful, but it is Hanks' portrayal of the roller-coaster emotions of a stranded man, complete with conversations with 'Wilson' the volleyball, that makes the film. Hanks would be Oscar nominated for his performance.

This wonderful poster has never been folded and is double-sided, so could be displayed in an Art of the Movies Light Box or traditionally framed.

By the way, the original idea for the film came from Hanks. Reading an article on Fedex he realised that thousands of cargo flights criss-crossed the Pacific each year. What would happen if one went down?
