While searching world-wide for original movie posters, we sometimes come across other posters that we just have to have, and this is a great example!
A guaranteed original exhibition poster from 1978 for the exhibition Fifty Years of Animation: Building A Better Mouse.
Held at the U.S. Library of Congress in Washington, from November 21st 1978 to 30th January 1979, this exhibition charted the fifty year evolution of Mickey Mouse and Disney animation, starting with the 18th November 1928 release of Steamboat Willie.
Reporting on 22nd November 1978, The Washington Post wrote that the exhibition's opening dinner had been "... an animated evening...", with Mickey Mouse as guest of honour and a rousing rendition of Happy Birthday from the 140 artists, intellectuals and administrators present!
This poster, showing a crew of mouse building a sculpture of Mickey, is in fantastic condition and as our photos show, will look incredible framed and on display.
We only sell guaranteed original posters. We do not sell reproductions.
Note: This movie poster is priced unframed. Photos showing framed and 'in room' images are for illustration only. Please check our hi-res images and the sizing information shown above.
