A guaranteed original Australian 'day bill' movie poster from 1979 for Daniel Haller's sci-fi adventure "Buck Rogers In The 25th Century", based on the character created in the 1920s by Philip Francis Nowlan.
Originally produced as a pilot for a TV series, the film was so well put together that it was given a theatrical release in advance of the series airing on television. It went on to take over $20M against a production budget of $3M!
Starring Gil Gerard as 'William (Buck) Rogers' and Erin Gray as 'Colonel Wilma Deering', the film also introduced us to 'Twiki' (played by Felix Silla). Those of us who were kids at the time can still do a "biddy biddy biddy" impression of the little robot!
This superb Australian daybill poster is in fantastic condition and displays really well. As well as taking us back to the great sci-fi films and TV series of the 1970s and 1980s, it also harks back to the early comics of the 1920s. A beautiful piece.
We only sell guaranteed original movie posters. We do not sell reproductions.
Note: This poster is priced unframed. Photos showing framed and 'in room' images are for illustration only. Please check our hi-res images and the sizing information shown above.
