A guaranteed original U.S. movie still from 1938 for John G. Blystone's screwball comedy "Block-Heads", starring the classic comedy duo Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy.
In the trenches of World War I, our intrepid soldiers are ordered 'over the top' to attack. All except for Stan who is ordered to stay behind and guard the trench. Twenty years and a lot of beans later, he is still there, wearing trenches in the trench as he paces back and forth, rifle still over his shoulder.
Discovered by a pilot he tries to shoot down, Stan returns to the U.S. and to 1938. Reunited with Ollie, surely the two, older and wiser, can keep themselves out of trouble?
This fantastic movie still is well over ninety years old! It shows Laurel and Hardy with Patricia Ellis (Mrs 'Toots' Gilbert) and Minna Gombell (Mrs Oliver Hardy!). It is in super condition and is an incredible piece for any fan of classic early Twentieth Century comedy!
By the way, from the stamps on the reverse of this still, it clearly spent some time in New Zealand!
We only sell guaranteed original movie posters. We do not sell reproductions.
Note: This movie still is priced unframed. Photos showing framed and 'in room' images are for illustration only. Please check our hi-res images and the sizing information shown above.
