A guaranteed original one sheet movie poster from 2000 for Cameron Crowe's superb rock-and-roll comedy drama "Almost Famous", starring starring Billy Crudup, Frances McDormand, Kate Hudson, Jason Lee, Patrick Fugit, Anna Paquin, Fairuza Balk, Noah Taylor and Philip Seymour Hoffman.
Crowe's semi-autobiographical movie follows 15-year-old music enthusiast William Miller as he lands the chance of a lifetime, to go on tour with an up-and-coming rock band and to write a feature for Rolling Stone magazine.
Unbelievably, Almost Famous performed appallingly at the box office, only taking $50M against a production budget of $60M! Incredible for a film that received universal acclaim, was nominated for four Oscars and then voted the Hollywood Reporter's 71st greatest film of all time!
This incredible movie poster, showing Kate Hudson's wonderful band-aide Penny Lane, has never been folded and is in superb condition. Being double-sided, it is suitable for display in an Art of the Movies Light Box or traditional framed display.
