A guaranteed original promotional still from 1960-1962, for the TV series "Alfred Hitchcock Presents".

Running from 1955 to 1965 and airing close to 200 episides, Alfred Hitchock Presents brought horror, suspense and intrigue to U.S. TV screens!

Airing on the U.S. TV network CBS on Sunday nights from 1955-1960, before switching to NBC, we can be certain (given the 'snipe' on the reverse) that this photo was taken between 1960 and 1962. (The show was renamed The Alfred Hitchcock Hour in 1962.)

The master of suspense had a wicked sense of humour and here we find him staring mournfully at a lily, the flower of grief and mourning. This photo would have been used for promotion of the TV series. As our photos show, it is in lovely condition and will look fantastic framed and on display!
