A guaranteed original Australian Daybill movie poster for Sergio Leone's 1964 spaghetti western masterpiece "Per un Pugno di Dollari" / "A Fistful of Dollars" starring Clint Eastwood (in his first leading role) as the man with no name!
Leone and Eastwood are synonymous with the spaghetti western genre - a set of films produced and directed by Italians and released from the mid 1960s. Together with The Good, The Bad and The Ugly and For a Few Dollars More, this film cemented both as leading film maker and star.
Tarantino's Once Upon A Time In Hollywood has introduced the spaghetti western to a new generation of fans, and, with the prominent use of movie posters within the film, increased the desire for illustrated Italian locandinas.
This is a stunning movie poster! The format is known as the Australian Daybill, but we can tell from the lack of a rating box that it was produced for use in New Zealand. We then found it in the States and brought it to the U.K.!
So, this is sixty year old poster that has travelled extensively, but you would never know! It has been linen-backed and as our photos show, now displays incredibly well. It will look amazing framed and on the wall of any Leone fan!
We only sell guaranteed original movie posters. We do not sell reproductions.
Note: This original movie poster is priced unframed. Photos showing framed and 'in room' images are for illustration only. Please check our hi-res images and the sizing information shown above.
