A guaranteed original and framed '8 x 10' English lobby card for one of the most influential films ever made, Stanley Kubrick's legendary "2001: A Space Odyssey".

Based on the short story The Sentinel by Arthur C. Clarke, the screenplay was written jointly by Kubrick and Clarke. Although financed by MGM from the U.S., the film was largely made in the U.K. It's ground-breaking visual effects earned Kubrick an Oscar. One of four of the film's nominations. 

Lobby cards were used in the foyer of cinemas and movie theatres (in this case a U.K. cinema) at the time of a film’s release. This superb example shows a suited Discovery astronaut preparing to enter an EVA pod. Was the AE-35 antenna control unit really about to fail?

It is in fantastic condition and has been framed by us in a black ayous wood frame with an iced white mount, protective barrier board and crystal clear Perspex glazing. As our photos show, it will look amazing on display!
