Originally released in 1959, Sleeping Beauty features the voice talents of Mary Costa (as 'Princess Aurora'), Bill Shirley (as 'Prince Philip') and Eleanor Audley (as 'Maleficent').

Due to painter Eyvind Earle's art direction, this movie has a phenomenally rich design. The strong portrayal of Maleficent (by animator Marc Davis) lead to the 2014 film starring Angelina Jolie.
