A guaranteed original '8x10' movie still from Howard Hawks' superb 1959 western "Rio Bravo", starring John Wayne, Dean Martin, Ricky Nelson, Walter Brennan, Ward Bond and Angie Dickinson.

Based on a short story by B.H. McCampbell, Wayne stars as the sheriff of a Texan town. When the brother of a wealthy land owner kills a man, can the lawman and a small rag tag band of marshals hold off the gang trying to free him from jail?

In 2014, Rio Bravo was selected for preservation in the U.S. National Film Registry for its cultural, historic or aesthetical significance.

This superb movie still showing Wayne at his best, would have been used for publicity during the film's release.
