An absolutely unique, 1 of 1, concept movie poster art for Franc Roddam's seminal youth drama "Quadrophenia", starring Phil Daniels, Leslie Ash, Toyah, Philip Davis, Mark Wingett, Sting and Ray Winstone.

In early 2021 we wrote about an exciting Kickstarter campaign to capture the archive of the advertising agency FEREF in book form. Lost for many years, the company's archive provided a wonderful view of movie advertising from the late 1960's to the present day, with many pieces that had never been seen publicly.

The same year, FEREF released a small number of pieces from their archive on to the market. This wonderful example is a piece of unused concept art for the movie poster for 1979's Quadrophenia.

Provided is the original transparency of the artwork, together with a 1 of 1 proof print, embossed by FEREF and signed by their (then) CEO Graham Hawkey-Smith. There is no other example of this artwork.

It has been framed by us in a black ayous wood frame with an iced white mount, protective barrier board and crystal clear Perspex glazing. As our photos show, it will look amazing on display! A real talking point for any mod, or rocker!
