A guaranteed original and framed '8 x 10' publicity still from 1967 for John Huston's secret agent comedy "Casino Royale", with David Niven as 007, 'Sir James Bond'.
Almost half a century before Daniel Craig's Bond entered the casino, producer Charles K. Feldman had acquired the film rights to Ian Fleming's first Bond novel. Negotiations with franchise owner Albert Broccoli to get it made as a 'typical Bond film' failed and so, Feldman decided to make an atypical Bond film, a spoof.
Supporting Niven is a superb ensemble cast including Peter Sellers, Ursula Andress (as 'Vesper Lynd'), Woody Allen and Orson Welles. The musical score was composed by the late musical genius Burt Bacharach and includes The Look of Love, sung by Dusty Springfield and nominated for the Best Song Oscar.
This is an unusual publicity still. It shows only a black and white image of Robert McGinnis' incredible 'painted woman' artwork. We haven't seen another like it.
It is in wonderful condition and has been framed by us in a black ayous wood frame with an iced white mount, protective barrier board and crystal clear acrylic glazing. As our photos show, it will look amazing on display!
We only sell guaranteed original movie posters. We do not sell reproductions.
Note: This publicity still is priced framed. Photos showing 'in room' images are for illustration only. Please check our hi-res images and the sizing information shown above.
