A guaranteed original U.S. first printing 'Style A' one sheet movie poster from 1977 for "Star Wars", now known as "Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope".

Written and directed by George Lucas and nominated in the "Best Picture" category for an Oscar, the film introduced us to Mark Hamill (as "Luke Skywalker"), Harrison Ford (as "Han Solo"), Carrie Fisher (as "Princess Leia"),Peter Cushing (as "Grand Moff Tarkin"), Alec Guinness (nominated in the "Best Supporting Actor" Oscar category, as Obi-Wan Kenobi) and a host of actors now very familiar faces to all movie fans.

Note that this poster with amazing artwork by Tom Jung has not yet been linen-backed (see FAQs), but, given its value and rarity, the buyer may choose to do that. As our photos show, it is in really nice condition and displays very well. A true collector's piece.

There were four different printing of the Style A poster. This poster has the 77-21-0 reference, confirming that it is from the first printing. There are reproductions of this poster in circulation, but, we guarantee that this one is authentic.
