A pair of guaranteed original Japanese chirashi 'B5' movie posters from 2010 for Hiromasa Yonebayashi's animated fantasy "Arriety The Borrower", released in English as "Arriety" and "The Secret World of Arriety".

Based on the 1952 novel The Borrowers by Mary Norton and with a screenplay by Studio Ghibli founder Hayao Miyazaki and Keiko Niwa, this wonderful film tells of a family of tiny people who live in the fabric of a home, 'borrowing' items from the human occupants to survive.

A perfect example of a 'Studio Ghibli film', it holds a 94% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes and is certainly a family film to seek out. (It is currently available on Netflix.)

These beautiful little posters have never been folded and as our high-resolution photos show are in fantastic condition. We will supply two identical chirashis so that the owner can display both sides simultaneously.

By the way, the reverse of the chirashis has the words (in Japanese) of Arriety's Song. The film score was written by French musician Cecile Corbel. The first non-Japanese composer to work on a Studio Ghibli movie!
