Starring Bill Murray and Scarlett Johansson as two estranged Americans equally disconnected and alienated in Tokyo, but more so in their own lives. Critically acclaimed and a firm fan favourite, the movie received four Oscar nominations, including Best Picture and Best Director with Coppola winning for Best Screenplay. Murray's performance would also earn him a Best Actor nomination - his only nomination to date.
