A guaranteed original fan club poster from 1978 for "Star Wars", now known as "Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope".

Written and directed by George Lucas and nominated for a "Best Picture" Oscar, the film introduced us to Mark Hamill (as 'Luke Skywalker'), Harrison Ford (as 'Han Solo'), Carrie Fisher (as 'Princess Leia'), Peter Cushing (as 'Grand Moff Tarkin'), Alec Guinness (nominated in the "Best Supporting Actor" Oscar category, as 'Obi-Wan Kenobi') and a host of actors now very familiar faces to all movie fans.

This superb single-sided poster was issued to Charter Members of the Star Wars fan club. The action on this pivotal scene in the trench of the Death Star has been captured by Star Wars concept artist Ralph McQuarrie. It has never been folded and as our photos show, while it shows a few signs of previous handling, is in lovely condition. A superb poster for any Star Wars fan!
