A guaranteed original and framed '8 x 10' movie still from 1977 for "Star Wars", now known as "Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope".

Written and directed by George Lucas and nominated in the Best Picture Oscar category, Star Wars introduced us to Mark Hamill (as "Luke Skywalker"), Harrison Ford (as "Han Solo"), Carrie Fisher (as "Princess Leia"), Anthony Daniels (as "C-3PO"), Kenny Baker (as "R2-D2") and a host of actors now very familiar faces to all movie fans.

This wonderful movie still has one of the iconic Star Wars images, with Princess Leia desperately hiding the Death Star plans in the astromech droid R2-D2. Can he get them to the Rebel Alliance? Perhaps with the help of an old friend...

It would have been snapped by a Unit Still Photographer during filming and then used for promotion during the film's 1977 release.

It is in fantastic condition and has been framed by us in a black ayous wood frame with an iced white mount, barrier board and acrylic glazing with high UV resistance. As our photos show, it will look amazing on display!
