A guaranteed original and framed '8 x 10' movie still from 1977 for "Star Wars", now known as "Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope".

Written and directed by George Lucas and nominated for the Best Picture Oscar, Star Wars introduced us to Mark Hamill (as "Luke Skywalker"), Harrison Ford (as "Han Solo"), Carrie Fisher (as "Princess Leia"), Anthony Daniels (as "C-3PO"), Kenny Baker (as "R2-D2") and a host of actors now very familiar faces to all movie fans.

This superb movie still, showing Chewbacca with his bowcaster gun, would have been taken by a Unit Still Photographer during filming and then used for publicity during the film's release. 

This is a superb shot of Peter Mayhew's Chewbacca. It would have been easy for the character to be 'a big comic bear', but as we can see in this photo, Mayhew gave Chewie real soul and identity.

It is in fantastic condition and has been framed by us in a black ayous wood frame with an iced white mount, barrier board and crystal clear acrylic glazing. As our photos show, it will look amazing on display!
