A guaranteed original English one sheet movie poster for Francis Ford Coppola's 1972 organised crime masterpiece "The Godfather", based on the 1969 novel by Mario Puzo and starring Marlon Brando, Al Pacino, James Caan, Richard Castellano, Robert Duvall, Sterling Hayden, John Marley, Richard Conte and Diane Keaton.

What can I write about this film that hasn't already been said? One of the most celebrated films of all time... Nominated for eleven Oscars... Marlon Brando won the Best Actor award, but turned it down in protest of the depiction of Native Americans in films and on television. Nino Rota won the Best Score award, only to have it revoked as he had previously used some similar refrains in a previous film!

It would be followed by The Godfather Part 2 in 1974 and The Godfather Part 3 in 1990.

This superb English movie poster improves upon the U.S. one sheet, adding the superb profile of Brando's Don Vito Corleone to the puppetry artwork designed for Puzo's novel by S. Neil Fujita.
