A guaranteed original one sheet movie poster for the 50th Anniversary release of Francis Ford Coppola's organised crime masterpiece of 1972 "The Godfather", based on the 1969 novel by Mario Puzo and starring Marlon Brando, Al Pacino, James Caan, Richard Castellano, Robert Duvall, Sterling Hayden, John Marley, Richard Conte and Diane Keaton.

What can I write about this film that hasn't already been said? One of the most celebrated films of all time... Nominated for eleven Oscars... Marlon Brando won the Best Actor award, but turned it down in protest of the depiction of Native Americans in films and on television. Nino Rota won the Best Score award, only to have it revoked as he had previously used some similar refrains in an earlier film!

It would be followed by The Godfather Part 2 in 1974 and The Godfather Part 3 in 1990.

This superb poster was produced for the 50th Anniversary release of the film. Given the rarity and cost of posters from the 1972 release, it provides a fantastic opportunity to pick up an original poster for this iconic film, that looks incredible too!
