A guaranteed original Japanese 'B2' movie poster for the 2021 Japanese release of Jean-Luc Godard's 1968 rock and roll composite movie "One Plus One", also released as "Sympathy For The Devil".

The first English speaking film of French New Wave director Jean-Luc Godard, One Plus One mixes fictional scenes, political readings and documentary, particularly The Rolling Stones developing the song Sympathy For The Devil during a recording session for the Beggars Banquet album at London's Olympic Studios.

Unknown to Godard, the producers of the film would add 11 minutes of footage to the film (including the completion of The Stones song) and then rename the film Sympathy For The Devil. When Godard found out, he apparently punched a producer and then showed his version for free under a London bridge!

This fantastic poster is from a Japanese release of the film in 2021. It has never been folded and as our photos show, is in superb condition!

By the way, who would have thought that fifty-six years after this film, The Stones would still be releasing music?! Hackney Diamonds is released in October 2023.
