A fantastic and guaranteed original U.S. Style A '30x40' movie poster from 1983 for "Return of the Jedi", third film of the original "Star Wars" trilogy.

Written and produced by George Lucas, the film starred the now well known cast of Mark Hamill (as "Luke Skywalker"), Harrison Ford (as "Han Solo"), Carrie Fisher (as "Princess Leia"), Billy Dee Williams (as "Lando Calrissian") and many others now household names.

The studio issued a number of different posters for this movie. This poster is known as the "lightsabre style". It's influence can also be seen on the more recent posters for The Last Jedi.

This superb poster, with artwork by Tim Reamer, is a super example of a rarer '30x40' U.S. movie poster. These posters were produced for use at drive-ins and outside U.S. movie theaters and so were printed on thicker card-like paper. The ink seems to sit so well on the thicker paper, with the images having even greater depth. We love it! (Can you spot the Death Star?)

This example has never been folded and only shows minor signs of its use in 1983. A really wonderful example that will look incredible framed and on display!

By the way, we have read that the hands in the image are from a photo of George Lucas holding a lightsaber!
