What a movie poster!

An original French 'Grande' movie poster from 1982 for Harold Medford's 1963 biopic film "Marilyn".

Narrated by Rock Hudson and featuring Lauren Bacall, Cyd Charisse, Dean Martin, Charles Coburn and Tom Ewell, Marilyn provided a biography of the late actor and singer, who had passed away the year before. It also featured footage from her last, unfinished film, Something's Got To Give.

This is an incredible movie poster! It was produced for the 1982 release of the film and features fantastic artwork by prolific Russian movie poster artist, Boris Grinsson.

Originally issued folded, it has recently been linen backed by our paper conservators and as our photos show, looks absolutely AMAZING! It will make an incredible centre-piece of any stylish room. We adore it!

By the way, Dean Martin had contractual veto over who would play his leading lady in Something's Got To Give and following Monroe's death refused to continue the project with anyone else in the role.
