A fantastic and guaranteed original U.S. one sheet movie poster from 1976 for John Schlesinger's 1976 thriller "Marathon Man", adapted for the big screen by William Goldman, based on his own 1974 novel.

Thomas 'Babe' Levy's life as a Ph.D. researcher and avid runner is unremarkable. His brother however lives life a little more on the edge, working for the government and posing as a diamond smuggler for a Nazi war criminal. When his brother is killed, Babe's life also gets a lot more dangerous...

Incredible performances by Dustin Hoffman and Oscar nominated Laurence Olivier, coupled with a fantastically paced story make this a film to seek out. Although you may never visit the dentist again...

This fantastic poster has never been folded and as our photos show, is in remarkable condition for its age. It will look incredible framed and on display (but not in a dentist's waiting room).

By the way, (in a perhaps exaggerated tale) before a scene where his character had been awake for three days, Hoffman prepared by doing the same. Olivier's response? "Why don't you just try acting?"
