We have been looking for this poster for some time and were delighted to track another couple down!

A guaranteed original one sheet movie poster from the 1996 re-release of Alfred Hitchcock's classic psychological thriller "Vertigo", starring James Stewart and Kim Novak.

Based on the 1954 novel "D'entres les morts" ("From Among The Dead") by Pierre Boileau and Thomas Narcejac, the movie sees Stewart as former police detective 'Scottie' Ferguson, plagued by his fear of heights, hired to investigate a wife who is behaving strangely.

Now considered a classic, in 1989 the film was one of the first twenty-five movies added to the U.S. Library of Congress for having 'cultural, historical or aesthetic' significance.

This poster, for the 1996 re-release, reproduces the original Saul Bass designed poster with the iconic swirling vortex. As our photos show, it is in fantastic condition AND it is double-sided and so, is suitable for display in an Art of the Movies Light Box!
