A guaranteed original French Petite movie poster from 1995 for Mathieu Kassovitz's powerful crime drama "La Haine", starring Vincent Cassel, Hubert Koundé and Saïd Taghmaoui.

As riots break out in the Parisian suburb of Chanteloup-les-Vignes,  a young immigrant lies in intensive care, his injuries sustained while in police custody. This incredible film follows three of his friends through the subsequent twenty hours, a period that would change their lives forever.

Following a standing ovation at the Cannes Film Festival, Kassovitz would win the Best Director award. The Times would call the movie "... one of the most blisteringly effective pieces of urban cinema ever made." If you haven't seen this film, watch it!

By the way, the French Prime Minister at the time commissioned a special screening of the film and mandated that all ministers had to attend in order to get a better understanding of sentiments within some French migrant communities.
