Based on two short stories from Ian Fleming's For Your Eyes Only collection, this is the twelfth of the Bond series and the fifth in which Moore plays the gentleman spy. After the sci-fi theme of Moonraker, the film returns 007 to terra firma and a more traditional Bond story of espionage, intrigue and revenge.
