A guaranteed original one sheet movie poster from 2001 for Ridley Scott's pulsating war film "Black Hawk Down", based on the 1999 book by award-winning journalist Mark Bowden.

Bowden's book describes the real-life actions of the United Task Force as they set out to capture Somali war-lord Mohamed Farrah Aidid in 1993, events that later became known as the 'Battle of Mogadishu'.

Scott's award winning movie captures the U.S. military's most intense close combat fighting since the Vietnam War with tremendous intensity. Josh Hartnett, Eric Bana, Ewan McGregor, Tom Sizemore, William Fichtner, Orlando Bloom, Tom Hardy and Sam Shepard all appear as members of the 75th Rangers and Delta Force in a bloody battle that cost the lives of over 1000 Somalis and 19 American soldiers.

This wonderful movie poster has never been folded and is in fantastic condition, save for a small nick to the left hand border that will not be visible once framed. It is double-sided and so is suitable for display in an Art of the Movies Light Box or traditional framing.
