"A journey that begins where everything ends..."
Four guaranteed original '11x14' lobby cards from 1979 for Gary Nelson's Disney sci-fi adventure "The Black Hole". At the time, the most expensive film ever produced by Disney.
The original concept for the film dated from 1974, with a working title "Space Station One". Having seen the success of "Star Wars", Disney accelerated development of the film, now based on a mysterious ship orbiting a Black Hole, seemingly unaffected by its destructive gravitational force. Alongside "Star Wars" and "Star Trek : The Motion Picture" (which was released the same year), the film became a firm favourite of young sci-fi movie fans!
These great (larger sized) lobby cards come with the original printed envelope that they were supplied in. They are in super condition and will frame and display very well (as our photos show). Please add four frames if you would like us to frame these lobby cards for you.
A sequel or re-make has been talked about for many years. A completed script has even been produced by Jon Spaihts (who also wrote the "Alien" prequel "Prometheus"). Let's see whether it makes it in to production.
We only sell guaranteed original movie posters. We do not sell reproductions.
Note: These lobby cards are priced unframed. Photos showing framed and 'in room' images are for illustration only. Please check our hi-res images and the sizing information shown above.
