"The name is Bond, James Bond..." (Well, it will be.)
A pair of guaranteed original 8x10 promotional stills from the 1950s of (a very young looking) Roger Moore.
Roger Moore's first British TV appearance was in 1949's "The Governess". Following a short career as a model (including some fetching knitwear), he headed to the States, appearing in a number of TV series and one film, 1953's "The Clay of Kings".
In March 1954 he was signed by MGM on a seven year contract, leading to roles in "The Last Time I Saw Paris" (with Elizabeth Taylor), "The King's Thief" and "Diane". In 1956, Moore was released from his MGM contract. (In his own words, "At MGM, RGM [Roger George Moore] was NBG [no bloody good]!"
These photos can be dated to that short MGM period.
Following MGM, Moore would go on to amazing success, including "The Saint", "The Persuaders" and of course, twelve years as the one and only James Bond.
This wonderful pair of stills would have been used for promotion of Moore during his time at MGM. They are in super condition and as our photos show, will look amazing framed and on the wall of any Moore, or Bond, fan!
If you would like us to frame these for you, please add two grey 8x10 frames to your cart.
We only sell guaranteed original movie posters. We do not sell reproductions.
Note: These stills are priced unframed. Photos showing framed and 'in room' images are for illustration only. Please check our hi-res images and the sizing information shown above.
