A guaranteed original and framed '8 x 10' movie still from 1980 for Martin Scorsese's boxing biography "Raging Bull", based on the book by Jake LaMotta (the subject of the book and film), Joseph Carter and Peter Savage.

Nominated for eight Academy Awards (winning two, including Best Actor) Raging Bull stars Robert De Niro as boxer Jake LaMotta, alongside Joe Pesci and Cathy Moriarty. Originally criticised for its intensity and violence, the movie is now regarded as one of Scorsese and De Niro's finest collaborations.

De Niro famously put on 60 pounds (well over four stone) for the scenes where LaMotta was a fat and out of shape boxer!

This wonderful movie still shows De Niro in the ring, in more svelte shape! It would have been snapped by a Unit Still Photographer (most likely legendary photographer Brian Hamill) during production and then used for publicity during the film's release.

It is in fantastic condition and has been framed by us in a black ayous wood frame with an iced white mount, protective barrier board and crystal clear Perspex glazing. As our photos show, it will look amazing on display!
