A guaranteed original and framed '11x14' lobby card from 1975 for Milos Forman's superb mental institution melodrama "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest", based on the 1962 novel by Ken Kesey.
Shot in the Oregon State Hospital (which is still functioning today), the film sees convict Randle Patrick McMurphy (Jack Nicholson) play the system to end up in a mental institution rather than a hard-labour camp.
Can the wise-cracking and rebellious McMurphy do his time, help his fellow patients and wear down the tyrannical Nurse Mildred Ratched (Louise Fletcher), or, will the system beat him?
Winner of the Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress and Best Screenplay Oscars this wonderful movie is at times provocative and tear-jerking, at others comedic and uplifting. Such an incredible piece of story-telling and film-making and still a 'must watch' movie today. Astonishing.
This fantastic lobby card would have been used in the foyer of a U.S. movie theater at the time of the film's 1975 release and captures the wonderful scene where Murphy takes his fellow inmates fishing on the Pacific Coast!
It has been framed by us in a black ayous wood frame with an iced white mount, protective barrier board and crystal clear Perspex glazing. As our photos show, it will look amazing on display!
We only sell guaranteed original movie posters. We do not sell reproductions.
Note: This lobby card is priced framed. Photos showing 'in room' images are for illustration only. Please check our hi-res images and the sizing information shown above.
