An original movie still from Harold Medford's 1963 film "Marilyn" featuring Marilyn Monroe in the film "Something's Got To Give".
1963's Marilyn provided a biography of the late actor and singer, who had passed away the year before. It featured footage from her last, unfinished film, Something's Got To Give and this promotional shot was taken during filming of that movie.
It is quite common for stills of this era to have stamps and stickers on the reverse that help with establishing a precise age for the piece. In this case, there are none. It was sourced from a large U.S. archive, so we are certain of its authenticity, but have no clues to be able to age it accurately. It may be from a re-release rather then the original 1963 release.
It is in fantastic condition and has been framed by us in a black ayous wood frame with an iced white mount, protective barrier board and crystal clear Perspex glazing. As our photos show, it will look amazing on display!
By the way, Dean Martin had contractual veto over who would play his leading lady in Something's Got To Give and following Monroe's death refused to continue the project with anyone else in the role.
We only sell guaranteed original movie posters. We do not sell reproductions.
Note: This still is priced framed. Please check our hi-res images and the sizing information shown above.
