What an INCREDIBLE image this is!
A guaranteed original and framed '8 x 10' movie still from Terence Young's 1965 spy thriller "Thunderball", starring Sean Connery as the spy with a license to kill.
The fourth of the James Bond films, Thunderball sees 007 pitted against the shadowy SPECTRE on a mission that takes him to the Bahamas. Nearly a quarter of the movie was shot underwater, including a fantastic underwater battle!
This is amazing still! Capturing an incredible moment between Bond and Moneypenny, it would have been taken by a Unit Still Photographer during filming and then used for publicity during the film's release. The studio snipe on the reverse states...
"Moneypenny is admonished by her chief, M, for her continued interest in Agent 007."
I am not certain that is really what is going on!
It is in wonderful condition and has been framed by us in a black ayous wood frame with an iced white mount, protective barrier board and crystal clear Perspex glazing. As our photos show, it will look amazing on display!
By the way from the stamp on the reverse we know that this still was once part of the Photofest movie stills archive. We will provide the new owner with an image of the reverse for this records.
We only sell guaranteed original movie posters. We do not sell reproductions.
Note: This movie still is priced framed. Photos showing 'in room' images are for illustration only. Please check our hi-res images and the sizing information shown above.
