A guaranteed original and framed 8x10 movie still from the original 1964 release of The Beatles' "A Hard Day's Night", directed by Richard Lester.
From the opening guitar chord "twang” of the title track, A Hard Day’s Night sets out its stall, a comedic, exaggerated, take on ‘a day in the life’ of a Beatle.
Director Richard Lester’s previous work with The Goons provided the perfect environment for The Beatles to play out their ‘boy next door’ personas and fast emerging acerbic wit.
Nearly sixty years later it is still heralded as one of the greatest pop musical films, with TIME magazine (2010) rating it as one of the top 100 films of all time.
Not bad for a first film effort.
This superb movie still shows the fab four, apparently in Heathfield Street, Notting Hill, but we cannot pinpoint it in that area. It was captured on 7th April 1964 during filming for the movie.
It is in fantastic condition and has been framed by us in a black ayous wood frame with an iced white mount, protective barrier board and crystal clear Perspex glazing. As our photos show, it will look amazing on display!
We only sell guaranteed original movie posters. We do not sell reproductions.
Note: This movie still is priced framed. Photos showing 'in room' images are for illustration only. Please check our hi-res images and the sizing information shown above.
