A guaranteed original and framed '8 x 10' English lobby card for one of the most influential films ever made, Stanley Kubrick's legendary "2001: A Space Odyssey".

Based on the short story The Sentinel by Arthur C. Clarke, the screenplay was written jointly by Kubrick and Clarke. Although financed by MGM from the U.S., the film was largely made in the U.K. It's ground-breaking visual effects earned Kubrick an Oscar. One of four of the film's nominations. 

This superb lobby card shows the iconic image of a suited Discovery astronaut. Are they safe aboard a spacecraft controlled by a computer based Artificial Intelligence?

Lobby cards were used in the foyer of cinemas and movie theatres (in this case a U.K. cinema) at the time of a film’s release. This wonderful example is in fantastic condition and has been framed by us in a black ayous wood frame with an iced white mount, protective barrier board and crystal clear acrylic glazing.
