A guaranteed original and framed '8 x 10' English lobby card for one of the most influential films ever made, Stanley Kubrick's legendary "2001: A Space Odyssey".

Based on the short story The Sentinel by Arthur C. Clarke, the screenplay was written jointly by Kubrick and Clarke. Although financed by MGM from the U.S., the film was largely made in the U.K. It's ground-breaking visual effects earned Kubrick an Oscar. One of four of the film's nominations. 

This superb lobby card has the incredible concept artwork of Bob McCall, showing both a space-suited astronaut and the gravity replicating spinning crew quarters of the Discovery One.

Lobby cards were used in the foyer of cinemas and movie theatres (in this case a U.K. cinema) at the time of a film’s release.

This wonderful example has been framed by us in a black ayous wood frame with an iced white mount, protective barrier board and crystal clear Perspex glazing. A superb piece for any sci-fi or Kubrick fan!
