A guaranteed original U.S. one sheet movie poster from 1983 for Jack Clayton's Disney horror thriller "Something Wicked This Way Comes", starring Jason Robards Jr., Jonathan Pryce, Diane Ladd, Pam Grier and Ellen Geer.

Based on Ray Bradbury's 1962 novel and adapted by him for the big screen, Something Wicked This Way Comes follows two teenage friends and their nightmarish experiences with a circus that visits their Midwest home, Green Town. Who is the shadowy "Mr Dark" and can he really grant people their greatest desires?

Apparently Bradbury's passion for writing came from meeting a carnival showman who instructed him 'to live forever!' He took the title for this story from Shakespeare's Macbeth, "By the pricking of my thumbs / Something wicked this way comes."

This is a really beautiful movie poster! The incredible illustration is by David Grove. His acrylic and gouache technique brilliantly blends the two friends, the carnival and Mr Dark. Despite the bright focal point, we keep being drawn to Mr Dark's eyes. Amazing work.

Unusually for the time, it has never been folded and as our photos show, will look absolutely amazing framed and on the wall of any horror fan!
