A guaranteed original and framed '11x14' lobby card from 1998 for Steven Spielberg's astonishing World War II epic "Saving Private Ryan" written by Robert Rodat.

In one of the greatest war films ever made, Tom Hanks stars alongside Edward Burns, Matt Damon, Vin Diesel and Tom Sizemore as a group of infantry sent to save the last remaining son of the Ryan family.

Prior to filming Hanks and other members of the cast spent ten days on a 'boot camp' led by former marine Dale Dye. Matt Damon was trained separately in order to encourage the sense of isolation and alienation required by the story.

The results were astonishing, with some U.S. World War veterans stating that the opening scenes of the Normandy landing were the most (terrifyingly) realistic they had ever seen.

The highest grossing film of 1998, it would be nominated for eleven Academy Awards, winning five, including Best Director for Spielberg.
