A really super find! A guaranteed original 11x14 lobby / front of house card from 1984 for Peter Hyam's sci-fi sequel "2010 : The Year We Make Contact", follow up to Stanley Kubrick's "2001 : A Space Odyssey".

Starring Roy Scheider, John Lithgow, Helen Mirren, Bob Balaban and with Keir Dullea and Douglas Rain reprising their roles as David Bowman and HAL, the film follows the crews of American and Russian spaceships sent to uncover the fate of 2001's Discovery One.

This superb lobby card shows the Leonov and Discovery One in orbit around Jupiter. What is causing that dark patch on the planet's surface to grow so quickly? It would have been used in the foyer of a U.S. movie theatre at the time of the film's release. 

It is in fantastic condition and has been framed by us in a black ayous wood frame with an iced white mount, protective barrier board and crystal clear Perspex glazing. As our photos show, it will look amazing on display!

By the way, 2001 and 2010 author Arthur C. Clarke has a small cameo in the film, sat feeding pigeons outside of the White House!
