A fantastic and guaranteed original 'one sheet' poster from 1957 for Boris Petroff's horror thriller "The Unearthly", based on an original story by Jane Mann.
At his psychiatric hospital 'Dr. Charles Conway' (played by John Carradine) is secretly experimenting on patients, using artificial glands to try and create immortality!
The poster shows Alison Hayes as 'Grace Thomas', a new patient seeking treatment for depression. Can she be saved before the horrific experimental surgery...?
The poster has been linen-backed (see FAQs), to provide protection and to allow some restoration. Prior to backing, the poster had tiny paper loss at the cross-folds and pinholes around the edges. It had some tiny bits of paper loss on parts of some folds. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to backing. The backing was done well and the poster displays very well. (Check out our photos.)
This is a superb original vintage poster from the 1950s. Its 'sexy damsel in distress' artwork evokes the horror 'B-movies' of the era. It's a beauty.
We only sell guaranteed original movie posters. We do not sell reproductions.
Note: This poster is priced unframed. Photos showing framed and 'in room' images are for illustration only. Please check our hi-res images and the sizing information shown above.
