A guaranteed original U.S. lobby / front of house card from 1953 for "Commando Cody: Sky Marshall of the Universe", a sci-fi serial written by Ronald Davidson and starring Judd Holden in the title tole of 'Commando Cody'.

Commando Cody featured in two 12 chapter serials from Republic Pictures, 1952's "Radar Men From the Moon" and 1953's "Commando Cody: Sky Marshall of the Universe".

This poster was produced for chapter 1 of the 'Sky Marshall' series, entitled "Enemies of the Universe".

This amazing lobby card is now nearly seventy years old and represents an important part of early sci-fi history. It is in super condition, with just two small tape repairs to the reverse of the left centre border. As our photos show (including of the back of the card), it will look amazing framed and on display!

George Lucas has spoken at length about his love of the early sci-fi and adventure serials, and, the Star Wars fans amongst you will remember 'Commander Cody', a clone trooper who served under Obi-Wan Kenobi in "Revenge of the Sith". An evident homage to the earlier Commando.
