A really unusual find, a guaranteed original Italian one sheet movie poster from a 2019 re-release of Alfred Hitchcock's classic psychological thriller "Vertigo", starring James Stewart and Kim Novak.

Based on the 1954 novel "D'entres les morts" ("From Among The Dead") by Pierre Boileau and Thomas Narcejac, the movie sees Stewart as former police detective 'Scottie' Ferguson, plagued by his fear of heights, hired to investigate a wife who is behaving strangely.

Now considered a classic, in 1989 the film was one of the first twenty-five movies added to the U.S. Library of Congress for having 'cultural, historical or aesthetic' significance.

This poster is Italian and from a 2019 re-release of the movie. It carries the iconic 'vortex' design and artwork of Saul Bass and represents a fantastic opportunity to display an unfolded example in superb condition. A great poster for the Hitchcock fan or graphic designer!
