A guaranteed original U.K. quad movie poster for the 1999 re-release of Carol Reed's incredible 1949 noir murder mystery "The Third Man", starring Joseph Cotten, Alida Valli, Orson Welles, Trevor Howard, Bernard Lee, Paul Horbiger and Hedwig Bleibtreu. 

Written by Graham Greene, The Third Man takes us to post-war Austria, where an American author arrives to be told that his friend has been killed. Is the death of Harry Lime a simple car accident, or is there far more to it?

Receiving it's Grand Gala World Premiere at the Ritz Cinema in Hastings, The 3rd Man, would win plaudits and awards world-wide. It is now considered a masterpiece of twentieth century cinema. In 1999, the British Film Institute voted it The Greatest British Film of All Time.

To mark its fiftieth anniversary, the original film tapes were re-mastered and this U.K. quad movie poster was produced to support that release in British cinemas.
