A guaranteed original commemorative poster from 1987 to celebrate the ten year anniversary of "Star Wars", now known as "Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope", with artwork by John Alvin.

To celebrate the tenth anniversary of Star Wars, a large convention was held in a Los Angeles hotel. John Alvin pitched the idea for an anniversary poster and chose a horizontal format with the letters of the film's title acting as a window in to the young farmer from Tatooine's future.

Apparently, there are seventy-seven elements within the letters, celebrating the year of the film's original release!

This wonderful poster has never been folded and is in superb condition. Limited to an edition of 1500, it is signed and numbered by the artist, the late movie poster legend himself, John Alvin.
