What a beauty!

A stunning and guaranteed original one sheet movie poster from 1967 for John Huston's secret agent comedy "Casino Royale", with David Niven as 007, 'Sir James Bond'.

Almost half a century before Daniel Craig's Bond entered the casino, producer Charles K. Feldman had acquired the film rights to Ian Fleming's first Bond novel. Negotiations with franchise owner Albert Broccoli to get it made as a 'typical Bond film' failed and so, Feldman decided to make an atypical Bond film, a spoof.

Supporting Niven is a superb ensemble cast including Peter Sellers, Ursula Andress (as 'Vesper Lynd'), Woody Allen and Orson Welles. The musical score was composed by the late musical genius Burt Bacharach and includes The Look of Love, sung by Dusty Springfield and nominated for the Best Song Oscar.

This wonderful movie poster includes the incredible 'painted woman' artwork by movie poster legend Robert McGinnis, Look closely and you can see a parachuting 007 at the top of her back! 

As was common practice at the time, this poster was issued folded, but has since been linen-backed by our paper conservators and, as our photos show, now displays absolutely incredibly! I doubt there is a better example out there!
