A guaranteed original '11x14' lobby card from 2000 for Peter Lord and Nick Park's animated escape adventure "Chicken Run", starring the voice talents of Mel Gibson, Julia Sawalha, Miranda Richardson, Phil Daniels, Timothy Spall, Jane Horrocks and Imelda Staunton (and many more).
Produced by Aardman Animations (creators of Wallace and Gromit) using labour intensive 'stop-motion' animation, the film tells of a group of chickens, hell bent on escaping the Tweedy's, farmers who want to turn them in to the main ingredient of their Chicken Pies!
Aardman's first feature length film, Chicken Run is a riot of a film and a real family favourite here at AotM HQ. (Our daughter used to insist on calling herself 'Ginger'.) It is also the highest grossing stop-animation film of all time (at $225M).
This superb lobby card, showing 'Ginger' explaining her plan to the coop, would have been used in the foyer of a U.S. movie theatre / cinema. It is in fantastic condition and as our photos show displays incredibly well.
